Always wanted to learn how to quilt but didn’t know where to start? This is the perfect class for you! Whether you've never touched a quilt block before or just want a refresher on the basics, this beginner-friendly class will walk you through everything step by step.
You’ll learn essential quilting techniques like cutting, piecing, pressing, and proper measuring all while working on a simple project designed to build your skills and your confidence.
If you know how to use your sewing machine and are ready to start your quilting journey, this is your moment!
Let’s turn those “sew” many questions into beautiful stitches, one block at a time.
Part One
Tuesday, February 17th, 2026
We'll start with a discussion of all things quilting: Use of mats, rotary cutters, rulers, sewing a 1/4" inch seam, piecing, fabric choices. Lance will provide you with handouts, as well as materials for 1/4-inch practice.
Part Two
Wednesday, February 25th, 2026
Arrive to class with fabric cut and ready to begin sewing.
Part Three
Thursday, March 5th, 2026
Bring all blocks completed. We'll talk about trimming blocks (if they are not all the same size) and assembly of the quilt. In this class we also discuss options for finishing the quilt.
