Discover just how easy and precise quilt piecing can be using the BERNINA L 890. You’ll explore new possibilities as you create beautifully accurate blocks with perfect points, flexible construction, and creative decorative stitching all stitched on a serger.
Designed by BERNINA Overlocker Manager Pam Mashie and BERNINA Quilting Expert Amanda Murphy, this quilt highlights the stunning stitch quality of the BERNINA L 890 while introducing quilting techniques you can confidently use in future projects. Along the way, you’ll learn how the BERNINA L 890’s overlocker, flatlock, rolled hem, and cover & chain stitches can transform the way you approach quilt piecing and embellishment.
Each session will feature 2–3 different blocks and stitch techniques, allowing you to build skills gradually as your quilt comes together.
You’ll also learn how to use a variety of presser feet and stitch techniques to enhance your project. For the quilting portion, we’re happy to share additional information or you can use your favorite longarmer. Sara will have Lance quilt her quilt, and we can provide details if you’re interested in having Lance quilt yours as well.
Whether you’re new to serger quilting or ready to push your creativity further, this class offers inspiration, skill-building, and plenty of fun along the way!
