On the day of your class:
Wear comfortable shoes! We'll be on our feet most of the time
This hands-on class (or its companion class, Free Motion Quilting) is required prior to the rental of our longarm quilting machines. (Please note – you will learn to use the Bernina Q-Series; certification is machine-specific and will dictate which machine you will be eligible to rent.)
This class will provide individual instruction detailing how to successfully operate and quilt edge-to-edge, using either a Bernina longarm quilting machine. You will learn how to load/unload quilts, thread the machine and bobbin, utilize the computerized system for designing and quilting edge-to-edge, and master the numerous additional skills required for longarm quilting. Each student will be provided with fabric and batting on which to practice, as well as personal instruction. Completion of this class certifies proficiency for edge-to-edge longarm rental of the Bernina Q-Series.
