NEW: INTEGRATED STITCH REGULATOR
The BERNINA Integrated Stitch Regulator (BISR) on the B 790 ULTRA ensures perfectly even stitch lengths for all quilting applications including ruler work. It is fully compatible with all BERNINA quilting presser feet and works seamlessly in all BSR modes.

NEW: STITCH PLATE RECOGNITION
The B 790 ULTRA automatically recognizes the stitch plate in use*. It comes with a set of 3 stitch plates: the 9 mm Standard Stitch Plate with Sensor, the Straight Stitch Plate with Sensor and the BISR / 5.5 mm Stitch Plate with Sensor.

NEW: JUMBO STITCH
With Jumbo Stitch, the B 790 ULTRA lets you enlarge stitches up to 500% – perfect for striking decorative effects.

WIFI AND BERNINA STITCHOUT APP
WiFi allows you to transfer embroidery designs from your BERNINA Embroidery Software (optional) directly to your B 790 ULTRA machine, or the other way around. The BERNINA Stitchout App lets you track the embroidery process on your smartphone. The B 790 ULTRA is able to connect with the app allowing you to monitor the status of your embroidery stitchout from any room in your house. The app notifies you when the machine needs your direct attention, like thread color change, thread breakage or when the design is finished. WiFi gives you access to the Help Center on your personal device (tablet or smartphone).

SHAPE DESIGNER
Easily replicate a design – including imported stitches – multiple times and arrange them in your desired shape to create a bespoke pattern. Whether in a circle, square, rectangle, star, heart, arches and more, the possibilities with the Shape Designer are endless.

COLOR WHEEL
Change designs easily and coordinate to your favorite color scheme before you start embroidering. Alter the hue and saturation of a design on screen, translate the on-screen colors to thread colors and convert your colors to alternative thread brand libraries.

ENDLESS EMBROIDERY

NEW: ULTRA PRECISE PLACEMENT
With 3-Point Placement (new), 2-Point and 4-Point Placement, the positioning of your embroidery or quilting design is extremely easy and precise. This versatile function allows you to place your designs to precisely suit your project by simply setting two, three or four
